Congrats Tessa!
Sometimes our writers get published by other outlets, and we want to take this opportunity to showcase a hilarious article written by Tessa, and published by Sammiches and Psych Meds. As parents we know every minute to ourselves is precious. Tessa highlights the parenting ninjas that can multi-task their way through swimming lessons in order to get it all done and enjoy a few moments of freedom while their kids are in the pool. Her article, To The Parent Ninjas, We Salute You, is a great read and so funny! Happy Reading and Thank you!
Nice
Thank you, John!
Tessa, I loved the Ninja read. My office had to check on my out loud chuckles…keep bringing it. Randy
Awww, I appreciate the chuckles. Thank you!
Very true and thank you so much for making me feel good about my sneaky behavior. The two younger ones 8 and 5 just finished up two weeks of swim lessons at 5pm. Where low and behold matched perfectly with Lab swimming time at the pool. So while they were safely being taught how to swim I was able to get in 40-50 lengths of the pool in my efforts to train for the first leg of a relay tri with some friends. As you can probably my guess my contribution is the 1/2 mile swim at the beginning. I actually feel pretty prepared for this coming weekend after 2 weeks of swim practice. 🙂
That is some awesome ninja parenting right there! Good luck!
