KinderPerfect: A Review of a Fun Card Game (Specifically for Parents)

The game, KinderPerfect, is a party card game for friends that share in the experience of going through parenthood. This game is what would happen if Cards Against Humanity had to babysit a bunch of infants, toddlers, and adolescents all at once. The game involves a small deck of red cards that the “parent” reads, and a large pile of white cards that have funny parenting phrases or scenarios printed on them. It is a game that will make any father or mother, of any age, laugh out loud.

We played it with some good friends after a day spent watching football, and we giggled constantly. It would be a fun game to break out during a wine night with mom friends, or at a holiday get together when the kids are in bed or staring contently at the television, after an evening of sugar filled desserts.

The game will get you to reminisce about the newborn years, and also the toddler moments in regards to your kids and daily life. Our group of friends had a good time laughing and then bringing up our own hilarious experiences because some of the cards described things so perfectly.

I would highly recommend playing this game with good couple friends, because it is interesting and funny to see how dads answer or fill in the blanks to such prompts from the red cards as:

“I think about ______________________ while breastfeeding.”

“We were late to school today because of ______________________.”

“Please don’t put _____________________ in your mouth.”

Wives and mothers will also have fun picking the perfect white card that has the following types of potential answers:

“Eating the Cheerio in the toilet.”

“A formal goldfish funeral”

“A sticky remote control.”

If you can handle the hilarity and raunchiness that is parenting, you need this game because it goes for laughs and usually delivers. I am planning to bring it to Thanksgiving. I also think it would make for a great gift during the holidays.
