We Need More Love Stories

There is always time for a love story, especially during these pandemic and overly political days.

I had the best time writing about how Mark and Karen Crombie got together. The piece was for a local newspaper outlet. Click here to read it. The “feel good” story is simple, sweet and funny. I also hope it showcases how the best relationships are full of laughs while being based in friendship and trust.

Mark and Karen Crombie

This is my first time writing a Valentine’s Day themed profile article. It turned out terrific because the couple answering the questions did a fantastic job of sharing their story. I am so glad they took time out of their busy lives to give readers a glimpse of their relationship. It made for easy and fun writing on my part.

Local papers are so important to communities. Especially now! They print these types of stories that forge bonds with readers. I am fortunate to be a freelance writer and have the opportunities to write fun and interesting features. If you do not subscribe to a local paper, do it now! And if you wish to read more of my stuff (beyond this blog) subscribe to the Dakota Dunes/North Sioux City Times.
